Hmm the new Brighton Festival poster seems to be an homage to Milton Glaser’s Dylan poster, with Charles Rennie Mackintosh typography… very vibrant Brighton! (via Brighton Festival brochure revealed (From The Argus))

Do you like Top Trumps? Do you like collecting card things? I do. Now you can get your mitts on a brand new set (via SEO Top Trumps Blogging Competition « Silicon Beach Training Blog). Any idea what an SEO is? No, I don’t either, maybe I’ll Google it… Maybe they tell you on one of the cards?
The last lot I acquired was during the 2004 Edinburgh Comedy Festival. I don’t think it’s a full set, as you had to traipse around all the venues to collect them all, and who has time do that. Most of the comedians I’d never heard of. But some I had. Rob Brydon has a Snogability index of 7, as do Robin Ince and Marcus Bradstock. Up and coming Chris Addison only gets a zero, but Ross Noble gets a stonking 10! Poor old Stewart Lee also got a nought. He also got a Paramount Shock Factor of 0 - zilch - hasn’t he come along since then! Not surprisingly Puppetry of the Penis got a Shock Factor of 11, off the scale, and an impressive Snogability of 9, but there are two of them…

There is a list of all the possibles on one of the cards. Maybe I should get onto eBay and complete the set. I’m still a bit of a Tumblr dunce, so if you want to read what’s on the cards above, here’s a link to Flickr. And to be on the safe side, here’s another link to Silicon Beach. Now how do I find the URL of this particular posting?
